WOW! It's only 3 Weeks to Thanksgiving!

It's so hard to believe that we are just around the corner from Thanksgiving and Christmas. Halloween was just last week and even before Halloween was over the stores were stocking decorations for Christmas and the infamous Christmas catalogs were arriving in the mail. My grandson, Aiden, has gone through the ToysrUs and marked everything in it except for the "girls" stuff. He has a birthday Friday and he'll be 5 and it seems like only yesterday I was holding him right after birth.

Had the greatest Halloween with family and co-workers.

You have a burgler (Kimberly), ZZ Top (Rich), ME, witch (Cathy), and Medea (Josh)!  Don't we look great!!!!  We had so much fun and everyone coming into the Assessor's office got a kick out of us.

Now, it's time to plan our Thanksgiving with family. I love Thanksgiving because I have all my family in one place for lunch and then we proceed to head out to shop for Black Friday. We used to get up at 2am to arrive at our first stop but now with hours changing we eat lunch and then head out before 4pm on Thanksgiving Day! We weather the cold and even sometimes rain but we come home with cars filled and our lists shorter.  We will gather in the living room either right before we eat or right after and take all the sales papers and map out our plan of action. Where we will stop first and where we will end up when it's all over. We usually don't return home until the next afternoon.

I'm also preparing for some Vendor Festivals coming up the next two Saturdays. Getting my cards and gifts ready along with getting my upcoming schedule filled. I'm also going to start some Stamp Clubs before Christmas and hope to carry them through the New Year! I'll be posting on my new upcoming plans. Stay in touch!

2014 HOLIDAY SUPPLEMENT--Exclusive, Christmas, themed products and projects

The beautiful 2014 Holiday Catalog has been a hit so far, but Stampin'Up! thought that it wasn't possible to have too much of a great thing! So this year they are giving you a little end-of-the-year boost by offering some additional Christmas-themed products in a small, printed publication--the 2014 Supplement!

The 2014 Supplement will go live on October 20, 2014---while supplies last!  New products introduced in the supplement are only available while supplies last.

MANY MERRY STARS SIMPLY CREATED KIT     (page 9)
Many Merry Stars Simply Created Kit is ideal for customers who want a fun Christmas décor or DIY Project. There are 26 stars in several sizes in the kit, which is too many to make in a single class, but perfect for demonstrating a few project options and coordinating products, including the Many Merry Stars Stamp Set (page 8). If you are planning a class, make sure to schedule early in the season because the products are only available while supplies last!

12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS STAMP SET     (page 11)
The Twelve Days of Christmas is traditionally considered to be the festive Christmas season and depending on where you live-might be commemorated on the twelve days leading up to Christmas, or on the twelve days after. No matter how you and your customers want to use it, the 12 Days of Christmas Stamp Set combined with Project Life cards and pocket pages (page 10) are perfect for making a memory book commemorating the Christmas season. You can also use the set to demonstrate drop-off neighbor gifts for the 12 days leading up to Christmas.

PROJECT LIFE BY STAMPIN'UP!     (page 10)
The supplement provides a different kind of Project Life than you may have seen before. Instead of making a scrapbook after Christmas, your customers can use these products to capture the month of December as they live it!  You customers can take pictures each day and use Project Life cards and journaling pens to document it. By the end of the month, they can have a complete book for the month of December.

EXISTING CARDMAKING KITS     (page 11 and back cover)
You'll notice that the Watercolor Winter Too (holiday catalog) and Everyday Occasions (annual catalog) cardmaking kits are included in the supplement. These kits are included in order to help you showcase additional products that can help meet your customer's card making and gift giving needs at Christmastime.  These products are also strategically placed to provide you an opportunity to bring the holiday and annual catalogues to your attention and showcase all that Stampin'Up! has to offer!

I Would Love to Get to Know My Fellow Crafters

I would like to get know my fellow crafters, stampers and friends a little better. This is for all you Stampin'Up! demonstrators also. I would love for you to respond to my quick questionnaire so that I can learn more about you.

This is meant only for fun so only answer what you're comfortable answering:

1. Are you married? How many years?
2. Do you have children? Grandchildren? Let me know all about them.
3. Do you have pets? What are their names?
4. What is your most interesting hobby or interest?
5. Have you or do you scrapbook or make your own cards?
6. What type of greeting cards do you find you need most? Thank You, Sympathy, Birthday, etc.
7. What helps you relax or what do you do to relax?
8. What is a book that you've read that has really stayed with you or made a lasting impression?
9. Now for the best! What is your favorite food? And would you share your favorite family recipe for all of my lookers to have?

Now for my answers....I'm married to my best friend and soul mate for 13 years. We have three children between us...a daughter, 34, a son, 32 and another daughter 30. We have four grandchildren, a girl, 15, a girl 6, a boy 5 and another boy 3. They are our lives. Our 15 years old has traveled all over with us and is even my partner in crafts. I started out scrapbooking and then went to a "Make & Take" at a local church and fell in love with making cards, and other exciting things with Stampin'Up! Unfortunately, I feel that I've made so many Sympathy cards lately. I have experienced an enormous amount of deaths in our area but I also love making special birthday cards and just about anything I can throw together. By giving my special cards, I've been able to sell cards to others. Of course, crafting is my relaxation. I go into my craft space, turn on a little music or uplifting tape and craft away. My favorite book ever is the Bible and I do bible study daily but one book that touched me was "90 Minutes in Heaven". I had just lost my dad who was my rock and a great friend passed this book to me. He had recently also lost his dad. I touched me in ways I'll never forget.

My favorite food is seafood. I love shrimp but my second is chicken. I make a wonderful Chicken Casserole.

Cook chicken and shred. Put in baking dish 9 x 13. Mix a container of sour cream with one can of Cream of Chicken soup and pour over the chicken. Top with crushed Ritz crackers and dribble some melted butter. Bake in 350 degree oven for around 30 minutes or until crackers start to brown and mix is bubbling.

Additional Information about the Late Night Stampers Blog Hop

LATE NIGHT STAMPERS BLOG HOP

Here is a little more information about the blog hop if anyone still has additional questions.

The winners are chosen only after the entry is received and checked to see if the correct clues are listed at the correct blog address, then those names get added to a drawing.

Each person is allowed to enter only with one blog in the country you live in. If you are in the United States then you enter with a demonstrator in the United States.

Each of us post a clue on our blogs. The clue is a product in the catalog. We post a picture of our clue and a description and maybe some art using the product we picked.

When the list of blogs participating in the Treasure Hunt are posted, we each post that list on our blogs as well. Then when visitors go to each blog they keep track of the blog link as well as the clue that is on that blog. Once they have all the clues they turn the list into one of the demonstrators in their area.

When they get the list, we check it with their answers and if they are all correct, we accept that as a good entry and turn in the name and your email over to the host!!!!

Such an exciting adventure....you will also be able to see other demonstrators work with their products!
